…Il a dit ca…
"There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state with another, nothing more." - Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Well, I just finished reading the Count of Monte Cristo two days ago and can’t stop thinking about the book. There are some quotes that I really love in the book but at the moment, I can only post one of them (which happens to be my favorite quote out of the book). Maybe I’ll post the rest of the quotes tomorrow.

Is it wrong to hate someone?
Everybody wants to have a peaceful life, where they’re loved by others and they love in return. I wish my life could be like that. Unfortunately, there are some people who just get on your nerves almost all the time. No matter what they do or say, you’re always stabbed in the heart and you finally decide that it’s sickening to see these people around.
I remember I once watched a reality show and one of the contestants said, "On peut pas aimer tout le monde (One cannot love everybody)." Why not?
I hate it when I hate someone because it makes me feel bad. It makes my life negative. Nevertheless, it would be hipocricy for me to say that there’s no one whom I don’t like. I am aware that there might be people who dislike me and secretly hate me.
I just don’t know what to do when I have to often meet (or worse, live with!) someone whose attitudes I can’t stand.

I actually wanted to post the continuation of my last post ("…dans tes plus beaux reves…") but I haven’t really finished writing it. Whenever I finish writing a sentence, I reread the whole thing and erase the sentence I just typed or even some sentences I’d already done. In the end, I make no big progress. I guess I’m too afraid that my English is bad and you would have a head-ache reading it, or that my story is a big "blah", nothing special, and you’d get bored just reading the first two paragraphs.
In either case, I’d be really grateful to receive your comments.
Anyway, lately I’ve been reading a great book by Alexandre Dumas. It’s entitled "The Count of Monte Cristo". Consisting of 768 pages, I really do nothing else these days but eat those pages from dawn til dusk. It is really an extraordinary book. I think that everyone should read this story.
